Time and attendance for field crews

Know who's on site. Pay for the hours they worked.

Workers clock in with a face scan, and only inside the jobsite geofence. Use their own phone or a site iPad. Every company on the job gets its own hours report.

Paper timesheets and honor-system apps cost you hours you never see.

Buddy punching, padded clock-outs and hours from the wrong site all end up in payroll. Groundwork checks two things on every punch: who it is, and where they are.

Face match on every punch

A quick selfie is checked against the worker's enrolled photo. No badges or PINs to pass around.

Geofence enforced

Draw the fence around the jobsite. A punch from the truck stop or from home simply doesn't go through.

Phone or site kiosk

Workers punch on their own iPhone, or on an iPad mounted at the gate in kiosk mode, locked to that site.

Hours by company

Every sub and staffing agency on the job gets its own report, so you can match hours to their invoices.

How it works

Up and running on a site in an afternoon.

  1. 01

    Set up the site

The supervisor drops a pin, sizes the geofence, and adds each company working the job: your crew, your subs, your staffing agencies.

  2. 02

    Workers enroll

Each worker gets a text invite, picks their company, and takes one profile photo. That photo is what every punch is checked against.

  3. 03

    Punch and report

Crews clock in on site. You see who's there in real time, and pull hours for each company at the end of the week.

Reports

One report per company. No spreadsheet surgery.

Pick a site and a week. Groundwork splits the hours by company, with each worker's daily time and a total you can hold against the invoice.

  • Export as PDF or CSV
  • Every punch keeps its photo, time and location
  • Send it straight to the sub or agency

Questions from the field

What if a worker doesn't have a smartphone?

Mount an iPad at the site entrance in kiosk mode. Any enrolled worker can punch on it with a face scan.

Do you track workers after they clock out?

No. Location is checked at the moment of each punch, never while someone is off the clock.

How big can the geofence be?

You set the radius for each site, so it can cover a single pad or a whole campus.

Can subs and staffing agencies see their own hours?

You can export each company's report and send it to them. Direct access for subs is on the roadmap.

See it on one of your jobsites.
